Microsoft magic notepad

MAGIC #1

An Indian discovered that nobody can create a FOLDER anywhere on the computer
which can be named as "CON". This is something pretty cool...and
unbelievable. .. At Microsoft the whole Team, couldn't answer why this
happened!

TRY IT NOW, IT WILL NOT CREATE "CON" FOLDER

For those of you using Windows, do the following:

1. Open an empty notepad file

2. Type "Bush hid the facts" (without the quotes)

3. Save it as whatever you want.

4. Close it, and re-open it.

Is it just a really weird bug? :-??

this is something pretty cool and neat and unbelievable... At Microsoft the
whole Team, including Bill Gates, couldn't answer why this happened!

It was discovered by a Brazilian. Try it out yourself.

Open Microsoft Word and type =rand (200, 99)

And then press ENTER then see the magic.

Basic steps to TELNET on IMAP protocol

IMAP means Internet Message Access Protocol.This is a method of accessin mail from the mail server. To check connection from Telnet

Example Commands

Server Capability

To check the capabilities of a server, issue the following two commands:

a001 CAPABILITY

a002 logout

This would look like:

Testing Logins

Assume your username is dexter, with password pass, and your
mailserver is mserver.mynet.com. First we connect to the imap server,
which is on port 143, as follows:

Connected to mserver.mynet.com.
Escape character is '^]'.

Then we login (obviously, use your account and password, not "dexter" and "pass"!):

Microsoft Demoted To Developing Widgets For Bebo

Hi,
I have a good update about BEBO users, they can now chat with their members from BEBO. You can find the explanation from the Journal:
Bebo members will be able to click a link to start an IM session with
any other Bebo member, even if neither has a Windows Live ID, the
sign-on used for Hotmail and other Microsoft services. They'll also be
able to exchange messages with Bebo friends who aren't logged on, but
who are using Microsoft's regular Windows Live Messenger program.
However, Bebo users will not be able to send instant messages to
Windows Live Messenger users who don't have Bebo accounts, and Windows
Live Messenger users won't be able to see if their buddies are logged
on to Bebo.

Now, I am going to talk about the one that is creating the news. It is none other that the latest rocker phones iPhone. This has really made more expectation among the youth, iPhone has mobile websites built in WebKit browser engine. The deadly rival Nokia S60 has also announced a new "Widget" for S60 that uses markup languages like AJAX,HTML.
